Growing up in the golden hues of California, my childhood was filled with artistic opportunities.

Everytime I took a road trip with my family, my father, an artist himself, would often stop to take photos of the beautiful passing clouds and wild blooms.

As a kid, I did not fully grasp my dad’s appreciation of God’s handiwork. As I grew older I began to see more clearly how light played on their petals, highlighting their vibrant colors, and eventually inspiring my own artistic expression.

This artistic expression created the foundation for my new collection and paved the way for many more paintings to come.

In a way, each flower in this collection carries a piece of my personal history.

The California Poppy, for instance, is a symbol of my roots. Its vibrant orange against the blue skies compliment each other in a perfect balance of hues.

The Daisy takes me back to the soccer fields of my youth and family hikes in Yosemite Valley.

The Bachelor Blue Button, with its shades of cerulean and ultramarine blue, reminds me of the ocean's calming presence.

And then there’s the Wild Rose, its bright pink hues with a hint of yellow, captures my love for wild landscapes. It brings back a wave of nostalgia when I think of the memories of camping in the raw beauty of nature.

Watercolor, with its fluidity and vibrancy, has become my niche, much like how wildflowers have found their place in all of the diverse landscapes we each call home.
