Meet Wyn
Wyn is an award-winning watercolor based in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated in 2003 from California State University Fullerton where he majored in Art emphasizing drawing and painting. He went on to get his Teaching Credential and Masters in Education.
Wyn taught formally in the classroom for 15 years and now teaches his students online.
Wyn continues to exhibit his watercolors locally and internationally.
Most recently, Wyn won the 1st prize International Watercolor Masters 2024 contest, was nominated for the peopleâs choice award in Plein Air Magazine and won 1st place at the Louisville Urban Plein Air contest.

What if I donât know how to draw?
No problem! Wyn created drawings of our lessons so you donât have to! All you need to do is print and transfer it to your watercolor paper!
What is the ideal age of a Courageous Creator?
Wynâs 8 year old son loves creating art but needs help viewing it on the computer. So anywhere from 8-80 would be a good place to start!
What type of art will we be creating and in what style?
Wyn teaches from what he knows and he knows realism! Wyn is a classical representationist which mean he loves to draw and paint what he sees! The great thing about painting is you can eventually paint in any style you want. But we recommend you learn the basic techniques first!
What if I have a question or need an opinion on my artwork?
Head over to our Courageous Creators Private Facebook and ask our devoted group of beginner artists any art related question you like or get a critique by Wyn himself. How long do I have access to the course?
